Recently we redesigned our website, giving it a bright, fresh look and now we are looking for pint-sized fashionistas and cool little dudes in various ages to model our lines!  Anya Larre has joined forces with acclaimed local photographer, Brooke Fosnight of Fosnight Fotography, in search of the freshest faces in Sonoma County…is it just me, or do we not have the cutest kids in this beautiful place we are lucky to call home???

It is every mama’s dream come true to adorn her baby girl with everything girly the moment she arrives.  After all, we had all those years of practicing with our baby dolls!  But, for many of us, when this moment of anticipation arrives , we suddenly find ourselves scurrying to find an infant accessory that is both worthy of our precious bundle’s tiny head and comfortable at the same time. 

Anya Larre infant headbands are the perfect choice for the newest princess on the block!  Made with comfort in mind, our bands are super soft and stretchy and do not leave any marks on baby’s adorable head.  Since a plain headband simply will not do for the pint-sized fashionista, we have adorned our bands with a tiny blossom for that perfect crowning touch.  Simple.  Comfortable.  Fabulous.  It is pure perfection!

Welcome to the Anya Larre blog!  My line really began in May of 2007 when my husband and I were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Anya Larre.   Out of three children, Anya was the only bald one in the bunch!   Both our boys were born with gorgeous locks that billowed past their ears  so we were quite surprised to find such a gleaming hairless head staring back at us.  Too excited to sleep and overjoyed with the fact we were blessed with a GIRL, I requested a myriad of supplies to be brought to my bedside in the coming days. 

To my surprise (and excitement!) I was frequently asked by other moms and staff at the hospital where I ”bought” my little one’s hair accessories.  Soon boutiques were asking to carry our line and we couldn’t think of a better name than the little miracle who inspired it all.

Before I conclude my very first post I want to give a great big “thank you!” to a few very special people in my life who, through their encouragement, love and support make this all possible.  Understanding I am at risk of sounding like an Academy Award acceptance speech, I want to thank my devastatingly handsome husband, Toby, and my two darling boys, Cameron and Hunter, for being the greatest cheerleaders anyone could hope for; my mother who is always so generous with her time and doesn’t charge me for her great advice; my aunt (an amazing designer and a huge source of inspiration to me!!!) for being my first and most frequent customer; to my dear friend Kate who has given me the courage to believe in myself when I didn’t think I could; and to little Miss Anya Larre for being one of the three greatest gifts in my life and for exclaiming “PRETTY!” at the top of her lungs every time I create something new.
